王維的詩道出食物與思念的關係。論到怎樣解鄉愁?大部份人都會以吃一頓家鄉菜去解相思之苦。食物帶來的嗅覺和味覺可換醒記憶，《追憶逝水年華》小說中敍事者將瑪德蓮蛋糕泡在茶裡，勾起一連串的兒時回憶。記憶心理學甚至以此稱為「瑪德蓮蛋糕效應」。回憶可以有助建立自身的身份認同和歸屬感。今次文晶瑩以參與式藝術去和觀眾一起分享台港兩地食物文化記憶的故事，又以影像裝置去轉化塔可夫斯基電影「懷鄉」的尾段，以不一樣的方法去解鄉愁。

When it comes to addressing homesickness, most people would opt to ease their longing by having a meal of their hometown cuisine. The smells and tastes that food brings can awaken memories. In the novel " Remembrance of Things Past" the narrator dips a madeleine in tea, triggering a series of childhood memories. This phenomenon is even referred to in psychology as the 'Madeleine Effect'. Recollections can help establish one's sense of identity and belonging. Phoebe Man used participatory art to share stories of food culture memories from both Taiwan and Hong Kong with the audience. She also transformed the final segment of Tarkovsky's film "Nostalghia" through a video installation, addressing homesickness in an alternative way.
